The Southern Kaduna Labour Party (LP), Senatorial Candidate, Engr. Micheal Auta, has promised to prioritize women and Youths empowerment in order to drive and achieved the desired viable economic growth of the region.
The Senatorial hopeful stated this on Friday while fielding questions from newsmen in Kaduna.
According to him the economic and social empowerment of the Southern Kaduna Youths and women is critical for the collective growth of the region as people.
” It is imperative at this time that every critical stakeholder prioritise the Women and Youths in areas that relate to their socio-economic growth.
” If we are to have a stronger region were economic activities will thrive, it is crucial we take a strategic approach to ensuring that our young people are economic empowered,” Auta said.
He explained that the region has been a hot-bed of terrorist attacks in recent years, leaving the region in a very despicable manner that will require a deliberate approach in solving her problems.
” We must take advantage of the economic viability of the region and create an enabling enviroment were investors will come and create opportunities for an economic benefit of our people.
