Sonnie Bassey, the man whose wife died weeks ago chasing him and side-chick is not dead after all.
News broke out that he died out of shock. But he is reportedly still hale and hearty.
The news of Sonnie Bassey supposed death threw everyone in shock and it was spreading like wildfire until it was discovered to be false. He was said to have died from shock.
According to a concerned friend “Lara wise” who made this known on her social media page, she claimed she just spoke the man in question and that the news of his death was false and misleading.
The debunked report which had set tongues wagging in the rumour mill, had reported that Sonnie Bassey was said to have been in coma due to shock having lost his wife in a fatal accident while she was chasing him and his mistress.
The report said further that Sonnie finally lost the battle and gave up the ghost according to reports made available this morning leaving behind their children.
Recall on 9th of September 2022 that a lone crash on Murtala Mohammed Road saw a Toyota Highlander belonging to one Mrs Bassey skid off the road into a ditch by the highway.
Though the woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, she was pronounced dead minutes later due to injury sustained from the incident FRSC confirmed.
According to eye witness account the woman was pursuing her husband, alleged to be with a side chick in his car.
In her determination to catch up with them, she over sped and crashed her jeep leading to her death.
