The Director General of Mining Cadastre Office Abuja, Engr Obadiah Simon Nkom today was at his country home Biniki, Bondon District, Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State to cast his vote for the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Engr. Nkom after casting his vote, commend INEC for a free, fair and credible process, which he said had instilled the confidence of the electorates for the impressive turn out witnessed in the election.
“The introduction of the use of new technology, which included the Bimodal Accreditation System (BIVAS), electronic transmission of election result among others, caused the electorate to develop confidence in the process for a credible outcome,” he said.
Speaking further, the DG commended the electorate for a peaceful conduct during the election, while he enjoined them to repeat the same feat in the Governorship and State Assembly election coming up on March 11.
Engr Nkom after casting his votes visited the newly appointed District Head of Bondon, to pay homage where he prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom in steering the affairs of his community.
On the DG’s entourage was Mr Jerry Adams, the Executive Director Corporate Services, Kaduna State Internal Revenue Serve (KADIRS) and the Personal Assistant to the DG, Mal Aliyu Jafiya, .
