TY Buratai Academy delivered a shock 2-1 defeat to Rising Star FC , fans and supporters were in jubilation mood after the victory over the Jigawa base football club in opening of the NLO division two match against rising star on Thursday.
The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi State were thrown into wild celebration as Danbukur’s superb first-half goal handed TY Buratai Football Academy a well deserved 1-0 victory over Rising Star
Danbukur hammered in a half-volley from the edge of the box into the top corner in the 16th minute of the game after several chances missed by club top top scorer Ukasha in the opening game.
It looked for a long time like TY Buratai Academy would be leaving the Tafawa Balewa Stadium with just one or even draws points on thursday afternoon, after a penalty missed out by Rising Star attacker at 67th minutes of the game before later they equalized on the 79th minute but the Sarkin Yaki Boys was in the end satisfied by a late win.
“It was a match typical of games with tension and intensity right to the end,” the coach told reporters.
“We are happy because during phases of the game we were very good with a great goal that gave us control, but in the start of the second-half we had a crazy start and conceded a goal and a penalty to the opponent .
We celebrated Henry’s goal the way you’d expect a late goal to be celebrated.”
Ty Buratai Football Academy will play 6 more matches within next 6days
