The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung has vowed to work with the federal government and the State government to develop Southern Kaduna.
The senator who lamented over the lack of development in Southern Kaduna region, pledged to do everything possible to bring back smile on the faces of his constituents.
The Senator stated this while fielding questions from Journalist in Zonkwa, the headquarters of Zango Kataf Local Government during a thank you tour across the eight Local Government Areas.
Katung maintained that he’s prepared to work with the President and the Kaduna State Governor to alleviate the people in his Senatorial district from lack of development, stressing I will ensure our people get to smile again.”
“Elections are over and now I am a Senator for all irrespective of those that voted for me or not and notwithstanding their Party affiliations, I will partner with the federal and State governments to bring dividends of democracy to the senatorial district.”
“I shall work with all the elected members at the National and State Assemblies to speak for our people, attract developments and to secure our communities,” he said.
The Senator also tasked constituents to continue to pray for their leaders to deliver on their mandate.
While appealing to his constituents to be more patient, the lawmaker pledged to protect and defend their interest, even as he lobby for developmental projects for the entire zone.
