The Northern Consensus Movement of Nigeria (NCM) has vowed that
all the Yorubas leaving in the North must also leave the region if Sunday Igboho continue his moves to push Fulanis away from Yoruba lands.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday in Kaduna, Comrade Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, the
National president of NCM, stressed that Nigeria is a one Nation and must be united.

Responding to an ultimatum notice given to Fulani community by Sunday Igboho, he quoted  section 41(1) of the 1999 constitution as amended, stressing that every Nigerian has right to live in any part of the country.

He therefore expressed dismay over Sunday Igboho’s fresh ultimatum to Fulani community that are residing in Yoruba land to leave the region,

“Just of recent a Sunday Igboho was released from Prison but he has continued his earlier moves of trying to eject Fulanis from Yoruba land. this time around we the Northern Consensus Movement of Nigeria will do everything possible to stop that move and if he refused to listen, we will have no option rather than to ask all Yorubas in the North to go back to their region,”he stressed.

“On the issue of compensation for our victims as a result of End Sars killing, Shasha akinyale market, IPOB and ESN killing, we have been pursuing it for some years since previous administration.

“Alot of promises was made but still the Federal Government refused to fulfill the promise, so we are requesting Mr president on this issue of compensation to do something on it as we are giving him four weeks ultimatum.

“If nothing is been done, we will demonstrate peacefully after which we will short down the country on all food stuff moving from North to all Southern part of the country.”
