Mr. Ishaku Ahmadu (Pendelum) on Thursday emerged as the Coordinator National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kagarko Local Government Area Chapter.
Ishaku beat other contestants to emerge the winner at the election held at the Kagarko Local Government SIECOM office.
The Returning Officer, Moses Thobias who announced the result, said Ishaku polled 69 votes to defeat his closest rival Mr. Saul Bayero who polled 7 votes.
The Returning Officer further explained that Kefas and Polycarp trailed behind with 0 votes respectively.
Speaking with newsmen, Ishaku, expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the election and reiterated his commitment to leading the council in the best interest of the Kagarko Youths.
He said the NYCN under his leadership will give its maximum support to the Council Chairman, Rt. Hon. Nasara Rabo to help in promoting policy formulation and implementation on issues relating to Youth Development.
He commended Nasara Rabo for his exemplary leadership, noting that NYCN will collaborate with the Local Government to help in enhancing economic prosperity.
He however calls on the people to support them in prayers as they assume their official duties.
