Maj.-Gen. Ademola Adedoja, the new Commandant, Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Center (MLAILPKC), has promised consolidation to move the centre forward.
Adedoja stated this while addressing officers and soldiers shortly after he assumed duty on Friday in Jaji, Kaduna State.
He pledged to consolidate on the foundation laid by his predecessors by operating an open door policy to take the center to greater heights.
Earlier, the outgone Commandant, Maj.-Gen. Obinna Onubogu, said that he worked tirelessly to ensure best training of course participants.
According to Onubogu, the center had also maintains high standards in its association with ECOWAS and the United Nations, and hoped that the new commandant would live up to the expectations.
Onubogu also thanked the staff, officers and soldiers for their support and cooperation during his stewardship of the centre.
Highlights of the event was the signing of the handing and taking-over notes as well as decoration of Adedoja with insignia of the centre. (NAN)
